Approach of ghost-wave subtraction on marine single-channel seismic data
(Bocharova A.A. Shalaeva N.V. )
Investigations of gas hydrate-bearing sediments take a lot of attention from researchers at the time. Informativity of research is significantly depends of initial data quality and processing procedures efficiency. In some cases seismic data can be affected by strong interference of signal and coherent noise-waves, for example, ghost-waves. Paper is dedicated to the application of efficient approach of ghost-waves rejection, based on the adaptive subtraction, to the seismic data with indicators of gas hydrates. Application of described approach allows extraction of new information about boundaries in the area of hydrate-and gas-bearing sediments.......
