Seismic profiling gravity and magnetic surveys 1:500 000 scale within near shore South Kara Sea shelf provided to identify new features of the zoning the basement and the taphrogenic sequence. Those features are the stepwise structure, the geometry of litho tectonic units, hierarchy and genesis of structures. The efficiency of innovational method of the processing of the data of gravity and magnetic surveys (the anomalies classification) in the oil and gas exploration is demonstrated.......

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SEISMICITY OF THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN PARTS OF THE PERSIAN GULF

The article presents some of the main characteristics of the seismicity regime of the central and eastern parts of the Persian Gulf and its coast. Data on the number and spatial position of seismic events, their energy characteristics (magnitudes) and the depth of the source zones were analyzed. The distribution of the number of seismic events over time reveals a quasi-periodic structure with a half-period of about 5-6 years. It should be noted that with an increase or a significant decrease in the number of earthquakes, the spatial position of the zones of their epicenters remains unchanged. The position of the hypocenters of the earthquakes under consideration covers a wide range of depths from shallow (2-10 km) to deeper (20-30 km). There is a clear General trend towards a decrease in the average depth level of focal zones during the period under review, against which time intervals are distinguished with a relatively large average for the year and a relatively small level of immersion of hypocenters. The analysis of temporal variations of seismicity of the North-Eastern part of the Persian Gulf basin showed high activity of seismic processes.......

MINERALS OF THE NATURAL REMANENT MAGNETIZATION OF KIMBERLITES OF THE PIPE NYURBINSKAYA (YAKUT DIAMONDIFEROUS PROVINCE)

In kimberlites pipe Nyurbinskaya two components of vectors of a characteristic natural remanent magnetization which are created by different magmatic processes are installed. The first - high-temperature M (magnetite), was formed at the moment by a becoming of a kimberlite pipe. The second - medium-temperature P (pirrotine), most likely, was created due to the hydrothermal processes caused by introduction of a post-ore dayka of alkaline dolerites. It is experimentally proved that pyrite served as initial mineral of neogenic pirrotine idiogenous to kimberlites. It is shown that the received petrophysical, magneto-mineralogical, thermomagnetic and geochemical data allow in a complex with the geological facts to create a correct image of physik-geological model of diamond fields in the Yakut diamondiferous province that will have a positive impact on their search.......

FEATURES OF PROCESSING SEISMIC DATA ON THE SHELF OF THE BARENTS SEA IN CONDITIONS OF A «HARD» WATER BOTTOM

The objective of this paper is to assess features of broadband processing of 3D seismic data, acquired with variable depth streamer in «hard» bottom conditions within Barents Sea shelf. The evaluation of processing sequence for maximum signal preservation with a minimum artefacts introduction is shown. The main attention is paid to such procedures as linear noise attenuation, multiple suppression using MWD and SRME technics, receiver side deghosting. Based on the proposed processing sequence, the reprocessing results of retrospective 2D seismic data with significant quality improvement of the final sections are presented.......
