Methodology of fractures reconstruction from seismic data via topological analysis of 3D diffraction images

The paper presents workflow to provide recovery of fracture characteristics from seismic data. We present discrete fracture modelling technique that properly describes fracture models on seismic scale and we propose combination of diffraction imaging and topological analysis of the diffraction images that provides recovery of discrete fractures modelling parameters. Numerical examples on synthetic models demonstrate detailed reliable reconstruction of the statistical characteristics of the fracture corridors.......

The application of attribute analysis for the solution of applied problems of GPR profiling

In the proposed publication are considered the possibilities of analyzing the dynamic characteristics of GPR signal. Analysis of dynamic characteristics is based on the calculation of various attributes and the construction of their graphs and two-dimensional sections. Methods are proposed to automate the process of processing and interpretation of GPR data. The use of attribute analysis significantly improves the interpretation of GPR data, allowing the use of quantitative characteristics, and expands the range of problems to be solved. Evaluation of fluid dynamics of oil and gas condensate field (OGCF) reservoirs according to findings of time measurements by neutron methods package

Experience is summarized in applying an innovative technology of OGCF wells behind-the-casing space probing by varying depth (multi-probe) and multi-method modifications of neutron methods based on stationary neutron sources. Findings of pilot tests of the technology using the method of time measurements in open hole and on Day 2 - Day 4 after casing and string cementing demonstrated its high informational value (particularly at the exploration drilling stage) for prompt identification of reservoirs with high permeability and porosity values and saturated with hydrocarbon fluids for testing. Subsequent time measurements make it possible to identify producing reservoirs with lower porosity and permeability. True values of reservoir pore space saturation are determined with identification of the phase condition of hydrocarbons in the reservoir after dissolution of mud filtrate penetration zone. Specific examples show that tasks of reservoirs identification, evaluation of their saturation with hydrocarbons with phase condition identification and mobility forecast are successfully resolved by benchmarking computed values of reservoir pore space saturation with hydrocarbons and their change in radial direction (from well wall) according to findings of time measurements.......

The quantitative evaluation of temperature logs in horizontal injection wells with multiple hydraulic fractures
