THE POSSIBILITY OF USING THE RESULTS OF SPECTRAL INVERSION IN SEISMIC DATA INTERPRETATION

The article is devoted to consideration of possible algorithms of using the results of spectral inversion to estimate characteristics of the geological section. Among the considered approaches can be identified, as universal, relevant to all types of spectral decomposition, and specialized, which use the results of spectral inversion. Among the special methods, the algorithm of resolution enhancement can be selected, based on the approximation coefficients and the associated method of relative acoustic impedance estimation. Also the possibility of seismic attenuation spectrum estimating is shown for determination of absorbing properties of the section. The applications of the results of spectral inversion are considered on real practical examples in different oil and gas basins.......

WHICH PROCESSING IS BETTER? ESTIMATION OF THE DETAIL AND ACCURACY OF A DEPOSIT SEISMIC-GEOLOGICAL MODEL DEPENDING ON THE QUALITY OF A SEISMIC DATA PROCESSING, A MARINE 3D SURVEY CASE STUDY

The basis of the work was the results of reprocessing a limited volume of seismic marine 3D survey performed in the early 2000s in the Pechora Sea. For five different processing results, the same complex of interpretation procedures is performed, including structural constructions, acoustic inversion and porosity prediction of the target formation. Comparison of constructed seismogeological models allows to evaluate the quality of seismic processing and answer the question: «Which processing is better?».......

METHODICAL APPROACHES OF AMPLITUDE ANOMALIES DISTRIBUTION STUDY IN PONT-PLIOCENE DEPOSITS FOR EXPLORATION EFFICIENCY INCREASING

Since the acquisition of NIS by Gazprom Neft in 2009, a new cycle of investment started into oil and gas research of southeastern Pannonian basin. New 3D seismic data cubes diploid over 25% of Vojvodina oil and gas bearing province (Serbia) increased the company's prospect, lead and play database. With new 3D seismic data, opportunity opened for detail research of complex Upper Miocene basin infill. These clastic prograding delta sediments contain significant gas fields with many bright spot amplitude anomalies type of plays and leads. Detail research of these anomalies was initiated with a goal of lowering investigation risks. New integrated approach to seismo-geological interpretation of these deposits together with their sedimentological analysis and petrophysical modeling resulted in the formation of seismo-sedimentological feature catalog of reservoir and following seal depo-bodies.......

APPLICATION FULL-AZIMUTH ANGLE DOMAIN MIGRATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE STUDY OF TERRIGENOUS RESERVOIR FOR EXAMPLE ONE OF THE FIELDS IN EASTERN SIBERIA. CASE STUDY

This paper presents the results of the application of depth anisotropic full-azimuth angle migration (LAD migration) and AVAZ inversion in one of oil field in Eastern Siberia. The ar ticle describes the results of the structural and kinematic and dynamic interpretation, the analysis of the convergence of the results of the interpretation of seismic data processed by LAD technology migration, with the same obtained as a result of the traditional approach - the time Kirchhoff migration. A comparison of stacked data received in the traditional way with the stacked data in depth after the application LAD technology migration shown its benefits in tracking and resolution of reflectors, a significant increase in detail tracking of blocks and disturbances, as well as a clear reflection from the boundaries of the basement. In general, as a result of LAD migration applying has improved S/N ratio with respect to results of Kirchhoff migration twice, which made it possible to get information at all stages of growth interpretation.......
