APPLICATION OF AZIMUTHAL MIGRATION AND AZIMUTHAL AVO ANALYSIS TO WIDTH-AZIMUTH 3D/3C SYNTHETIC AND REAL SEISMIC DATA

On the base of anisotropic elastic-density model of Timan-Pechora fractured carbonates, a finite-difference modeling of the 3D/3C seismogram complete set for a real quasi-regular 3D seismic survey was performed. Azimuthal 3D depth migration of common offset-vector gathers was performed and then azimuthal 3D common image-point gathers were obtained. Their azimuthal AVO analysis with regularization is performed and cubes of azimuthal attributes are obtained: normal incidence amplitudes, isotropic and anisotropic gradients, fractures azimuths. The estimates of azimuthal attributes are compared with their theoretical values, which indicates their good coincidence and stability. Practical examples of azimuthal AVO analysis of real seismic data in various regions, including Timan-Pechora, Western Uzbekistan and Western Siberia, are considered. A conclusion is made about the practical availability of the new technology and good prospects for its use in geological interpretation.......

APPLICATION OF THE CONSECUTIVE LATERAL CORRECTION METHOD TO THE SOLUTION OF THE AXISYMMETRIC INVERSE PROBLEM OF ELECTRICAL AND INDUCTION LOGGING IN GEOLOGICAL AREAS WITH DIAGONALLY-ANISOTROPIC BEDS

Productive profiles of many oil and gas deposits, for example, the Sakhalin shelf and Cretaceous sediments of Western Siberia, contain anisotropic reservoirs. The coefficient of oil and gas saturation in such reservoirs is estimated with significant errors due to the absence of an interpretation theory for electrical methods in these geological conditions. Therefore, it is relevant to develop a computational mathematical program for solving an inverse logging problem for area with diagonally-anisotropic beds. The consecutive lateral correction method is used for solving this problem. The article presents the results of numerical solutions of the axisymmetric inverse problem for electrical (BKZ) and induction (VIKIZ) logging measurements in vertical wells with diagonally-anisotropic geological media. It is allowed to have anisotropy in reservoirs and impenetrable beds. The results of calculations for models with different types of penetration, with isotropic and anisotropic beds, are presented in the paper.......

The article discusses the features of the Vasyugan siute low-resistivity reservoirs of the Vategan field in Western Siberia and the problem of assessing their properties. It is concluded that the fractional composition has the main impact on the rock resistivity reduction. Carbonate reservoirs of permo-carbon age with mixed wettability are observed. The analysis of the wettability influence on the filtration- capacitive properties of reservoirs is carried out.......

The article presents research results of core data which was gained from horizontal wells, comparison with vertical is made. The analysis of GIS interpretation results in horizontal wells is performed. It is concluded that the values of porosity and permeability coefficients of horizontal wells are reliably determined by GIS, and the effective oil-saturated reservoir lengths must be included in the geological model.......
