Analytical overview highlights international activity of the Central Geophysical Expedition (CGE) formed in 1967 as a science and technology center under the then USSR Ministry of Oil Industry. THE CONTRIBUTION OF CGE ON THE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THEORY AND PRACTICE OF 3D OILFIELDS GEOMECHANICAL MODELS BY RESULTS OF MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF STRESS-DEFORMATION STATE OF ROCKS

Relevance of definition of parameters of stress-deformation state (SDS) of rocks or a tensor of stresses has instituted by variety of the applied problems, utilizing these data. In petroleum geology data about the SDS of rocks are used, mainly, at a design stage of oilfields exploitation and realization of geology-technical actions in wells. For successful conducting hydraulic fracturing and its technological planning it is necessary to have an appraisal of minimum component of lateral rock pressure on selected depth and knowledge of attitude of the major axis of stress tensor. At engineering horizontal and slant wells, at drilling of offshoots in reservoirs with terrigene reservoirs they ware guided so that intercepted the least quantity of fractures in order to avoid watering out of wells. In carbonaceous and other reservoirs with fractured reservoirs at the same proportions and attitude of the major axis of a stress tensor, the technology of engineering of the horizontal (slope) holes will principally differ. As it will be demonstrated in article, these data characterizing azimuthally allocation of axis of stresses and the dominating kind of a stress tensor, it is possible to supplement essentially at the expense of mathematical modeling of the SDS of rocks and constructing of three-dimensional quantitative model of allocation of six derivatives component of stress field. Today in connection with active development difficult construction oil and gas accumulations in the basement («basement oil»), various type of reservoirs fractured saturating («shift oil»), scavenger oil resources with nonconventional (low- permeable) reservoirs («shale oil»), a quantitative appraisal of parameters of the SDS of rocks by results of mathematical modeling is the unique industrial realized technology of volume allocation of fields of the relative extension (deconsolidation) and the hyperfracturing in volume of 3D seismic cube.......

МATHEMATICAL MODELING OF THE SEISMIC EFFECTS FOR THE PROGNOSIS OF FRACTURING

Not so long ago the identification and quantitative analysis of fractured media using the features of seismic wave field were the subjects of the theoretical investigations. But today this approach claims to become a practical technology. There are the serious risks to loose fractured zones or to obtain an erroneous prognosis of its properties because of difficulties of detection and instability of estimation of singularities caused by the presence of fractures. In the current paper the fractured media prediction methodology is observed. The proposed methodology is based on the matching of the observed seismic effects with the anomalies predicted by mathematical modeling of seismic wave fields.......
