Hydro-pneumatic source (GPI-2) - new surface sourceof seismic vibrations excitation

The authors of the work offer readers to get acquainted with pilot and production tests of a new surface seismic source GPI-2. This source is a joint product of the company «IMPULSSEIS» (Russia) and RALOT (Italy), and can compete with the currently widely used in seismic survey NOMAD-65 seismic vibrator. The first publications, which set out the principles of operation [3] and a comparison of this source with gas-dynamic source [2], occurred in 2015. «Bashneftegeofizika» JSC conducted pilot and production tests of this source at the seismic profile, as well as in the production well by vertical seismic profiling method.......

Increasing the accuracy of the estimate anisotropic parameters according to the CDP-3D in a weak azimuthal anisotropy of rocks

The paper presents a new method for study weak azimuthal anisotropy event prognosis of natural and artificial fracture characterization using AVO-attributes and velocity analysis.
