The study of the secondary transformed radiolarians layer in the Bazhenov formation using seismic data

In this paper we present application of the technique of prospective acoustically contrast objects identification in Bazhenov formation based on complex analysis of the geomechanical, geochemical and geophysical parameters on real seismic data one of the Salym group oilfields. In the course of work we present a technique of complex using of the algorithms of layered amplitude inversion and pre-stack model based seismic inversion for detail prediction of the dynamic brittleness index and total organic carbon for the target secondary transformed radiolarians. The result of the technique application is the map of prospective zones for drilling and multi-stage fracturing in the study area.......

Creating a united survey of 3D seismic data on Yamburg gas and condensate field

A leading role at the present stage of studying the unique capacity of Yamburg oil and gas condensate field plays 3D seismic survey. Over 13 field seasons on this field were carried out seismic works 3D. When you create a single array of 3D seismic data was generated graph processing, significantly increasing the information content of the wave field in the entire interval of the geological profile. The method of estimating by seismic data a level of property distribution stationarity

One of the main criteria of propagation properties reliability during the quantitative interpretation is the model stationarity. Thus, drilling data, acting as a number of medium properties sampling points typically distributed over the area irregularly which can lead to the fact that the model can be accepted as stationary, in fact, not being such. Application of standard approaches to interpolation in the non-stationary model of the medium can be associated with the occurrence of significant forecast misties and the magnitude of misties in production not always can be evaluated. Thus, it is important to have a way independent from drilling data to evaluate stationary model of the environment in which the forecast is carried out. 3D Gaussian beams imaging of 3D VSP data in anisotropic media

The paper presents true amplitude Gaussian beam 3D imaging method for multicomponent 3D Vertical Seismic Profile (VSP) data in anisotropic media. The basis of the algorithm is anisotropic elastic Gaussian beams in 3D media. Usage of the beams allows avoiding aperture artifacts and artifacts of acquisition irregularities. The use of anisotropic Gaussian beams allows taking into account anisotropy of the background model. Multicomponent imaging algorithm eliminates artifacts produced by P to S conversion. The recovered true amplitude function is scattering potential. The algorithm provides possibility to recover 3D structural disruptions (faults etc.) in the near borehole area. The efficiency of the method is demonstrated on data obtained for realistic models of the medium.......
