Joint 2D Inversion of Electrical Resistivity Tomography and Radio/Audio Magnetotelluric data

2D algorithm for the joint inversion of Electrical Resistivity Tomography and Radio/Audio magnetotelluric data was developed. The algorithm was implemented in ZondRes2D software and tested on several synthetic and field examples which demonstrated the efficiency of the developed approach. It was shown that in comparison with the separate inversion of both methods data the joint inversion enables to increase significantly the quality of the obtained results and the reliability of interpretation in cases of complex geological environment.......

«Microleveling» - the modern technology for leveling and adjustment of spatial geophysical surveys

Studying of interrelation of the magnetic characteristics with structural-textural features gneisses (for example vorotilovskoy wells (Sputnik 1)

It was found that the magnetic characteristics of the gneisses, crystalline schists and breccia defined composition, structure, texture, distribution of magnetic mineralization in them. The difference in the magnetic properties of rocks caused by the presence of different morphological types and the presence of pyrrhotite magnetite mineralization. Geological findings confirmed the presence of two species of gneiss, their modular structure, as measured by the magnetization of the rocks in their natural state and analysis of correlations between the magnetic susceptibility and the anomalous magnetic field.......
