ANISOTROPIC ROCK-PHYSICS MODELING OF HADUM ROCKS OF EASTERN AND CENTRAL CISCAUCASIA

The paper presents a methodology for creating an anisotropic petroelastic model for Paleogene sediments of the Central and Eastern Ciscaucasia, based on a combination of geological and geophysical data of different scales. In contrast to the generally accepted approaches of petroelastic modeling, the developed model allows one to obtain an expanded set of elastic properties in the form of components of the elastic tensor, evaluate the parameters of the pore space microstructure, and also calculate the Thomsen anisotropy parameters. An analysis of the dynamic characteristics of seismic data showed that the distribution of amplitudes according to real seismic data does not agree with the isotropic case of the model response, which indicates the need to take into account anisotropy when performing a quantitative interpretation of seismic data in the fields of the studied area.......
