The article describes the results of studies of the Central Khoreyver Uplift Famennian carbonate reservoirs based on petroelastic modeling. Integration of lithological studies and well log data allowed using an effective mathematical model of the studied rocks, to identify the relationship between lithological and petrophysical parameters and elastic properties on the basis of which the criteria for prediction of reservoir properties from seismic data were formulated.......

INFLUENCE OF HETEROGENEOUS STRESS-STRAIN STATE OF ROCKS ON FORMATION OF SECONDARY POROSITY OF RESERVOIRS

In fields with complex geometric structure of productive layers, in areas of sharp changes in the thickness of the layers and large angles of occurrence of the roof or sole formed zones of heterogeneous stresses, leading to deformation of rocks. To identify such zones, geomechanical modeling of the productive formation of the oil field was used, with the help of which areas with obvious extremes of stress concentrations were identified. Analysis of wells and log data showed that in areas with maximum stress concentrations, rock fracturing occurs, leading to a sharp increase in well productivity.......

IMPROVEMENT OF SEISMIC IMAGE QUALITY DUE TO USE OF SPECIAL BROADBAND PROCESSING WITHOUT LOW-FREQUENCIES LEAKAGE: EASTERN SIBERIA CASE STUDY

Seismic image quality is prioritizing aim for geophysicists in most of the cases. Imaging quality parameters derive on two types: qualitative and quantitative. But traditionally, main of them are horizons' continuity, vertical and horizontal resolution, structural and dynamic-consistent of final cubes. Surface conditions, topography, near-surface variations and other geological and geophysical factors have a strong influence on seismic data quality and may cause seismic image problems: signal leakage, poor frequency band, unstable wavelet etc. As a result it leads to the challenges and limitations on both structural and dynamic interpretation stages. In the paper author demonstrate how image quality can be improved if the processing sequence had been optimized to preserve low-frequency signal. The results are compared with vintage cube 2013 year.......

EQUIPMENT ANALYSIS BASED ON SEGD HEADERS

The task of equipment parameters monitoring during seismic surveying has become increasingly important nowadays. Seismic SEGD files (opposite to SEGY) allow recording a large amount of diagnostic information on the status of the receiver spread to the headers of field gathers. This information can be used to verify the data provided in the observer's log and other reporting field files; control of equipment operating parameters; identifying deviation causes of field seismic data quantitative estimations (e.g., the selection of anomalous zones in the work of placement, etc.). The paper discusses the methods of extraction, statistical processing and visualization of data contained in SEGD headers.......
