Approach of ghost-wave subtraction on marine single-channel seismic data

Investigations of gas hydrate-bearing sediments take a lot of attention from researchers at the time. Informativity of research is significantly depends of initial data quality and processing procedures efficiency. In some cases seismic data can be affected by strong interference of signal and coherent noise-waves, for example, ghost-waves. Paper is dedicated to the application of efficient approach of ghost-waves rejection, based on the adaptive subtraction, to the seismic data with indicators of gas hydrates. Possibilities of the fractured reservoir response's peculiarities applications in seismic surveing

The approximate solution of Navier-Stocs equation for liquid in the fracture with permeable walls is investigated. It is assumed, that the fracture has an exponential shape in it's section, and oscillate under affectation of the elastic wave transition. According to the obtained solutions, the reaction of the fractured rock on seismic action drastically depends on cracks geometry and concentration, and permeability and porosity of the rock. The contribution of thin cracks with great parallelism and small permeability of it's walls, is predominate. In that case perceptible resonance phenomena arise in the rocks fluid oscillations. Approximations for resonance frequencies are obtained, and it is shown, that spectra of response on seismic action shifts to the small frequencies side. Derived formulas allow us to make approximate qualitative and semi-quantitative evaluations for mentioned rock reaction's contribution in the summary reflection coefficient and reflected signal's spectra.......

А new approach to improve the accuracy of structural constructions according to seismic data using the network of deep drilling wells

On the basis of the model and the real data analysis methods mapping in the presence of seismic data and drilling see, that the use of seismic logging leads to an increase in the amplitude of the horizon more then 10-20%. The use of maps the average velocity abolishes the relief of the horizon. The use of statistical data makes it possible to use these data in an optimal variant. The use of complex mathematical algorithms to calculate the relationship between the data and drilling times, with the formal approach, results in a number of cases to the formulas in which there is no common sense. This means one is that the sample is not representative vertical gradient is distorted horizontal component of velocity field and of the results obtained should be abandoned.......
