The paper presents the results of magnetotelluric soundings along the profile Yalta - Novosyolovka, crossing the Ai-Petri mountain and the MSU training ground. We consider methods of observation and processing of magnetotelluric data, obtained in abundant industrial noise area. Results of two-dimensional data interpretation are described. The electric conductivity anomaly, associated with the Predgorny fault, was revealed.......

Self potential (SP) anomalies of diffusion-adsorption (DA) origin frequently considered as filtration (F) anomalies that is the case of false discovery. In nature DA anomalies are widespread while filtration anomalies are more rear. To distinguish these anomalies we should consider correlation of SP potential and apparent resistivity values along the same profile. FIELD EXPERIENCE OF SURFACE-TO-BOREHOLE ELECTRICAL RESISTIVITY TOMOGRAPHY SURVEYS

In the article we analyze field experience of surface-to-borehole electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) surveys. It describes observational technique, processing and interpretation. There is proposed to use a different step between the electrodes on the surface and in the borehole. The solution to the problem of plotting apparent resistivity section for surface-to-borehole ERT surveys is shown. Interpretation of results are confirmed by mathematical modeling. The article will be of interest first of all to those who are looking for new opportunities to solve engineering and geological problems, since the combination of borehole and surface measurements significantly increases efficiency of electrical prospecting by increasing vertical resolution.......
